Sergio Muñoz is a Telecommunications Engineer.

He holds the positions of Operations Director of buildingSMART Spain and chairman of the UNE-CTN332 standardisation Committee. Additionally, he participates actively in different working groups to promote standardisation in the application of BIM methodology.

He has translated into Spanish the EN-ISO 19650 standard and he is co-author of different guides on BIM, such as the BIM Guide for Owners and Facility Managers, the BIM Guide for Technical Architecture or the Guide to Support Appointing with BIM Requirements.
